Believe in Yourself

Once you become aware that what you are currently doing is not working, then you begin looking to make it work.  So you likely are looking to find out more about yourself…and becoming more self-aware.  Self-awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don’t align with your internal standards. If you’re highly self-aware, you can objectively evaluate yourself, manage your emotions, align your behavior with your values, and understand correctly how others perceive you.

Your thinking must match the outcome you want.

Locus of Control

•Locus of control is the degree to which people believe that they have control over the outcome of events in their lives, as opposed to external forces beyond their control. Your locus of control can be internal or external.

•Those with an INTERNAL locus of control tend to believe that they have a high degree of control over what happens in their lives. These individuals tend to see the good and bad things that happen to themselves and others as a result of their own actions or lack of action.

•Those with an EXTERNAL locus of control tend to believe that the events in their lives are controlled by external factors like luck, fate, others’ behavior or “powerful others.”

You have far more control over your life than you think.
